My name is Ansum Krishna and I currently go to Battlesbridge bootcamp along with my dad - Anurag Kumar - and my mum - Kusum Kumari. As a family, going to the bootcamp is a fantastic experience as my parents are able to support me during the session.
We started to go as a family around the start of the six-week summer holidays and at first, I wasn’t looking forward to going; it felt a bit daunting hearing the word “bootcamp” which sounds like something that people in the military would do. However, my worries were ill-conceived and probably prejudicial.
The first session was difficult for me even with the help of my family and the trainer - Erin - albeit not for the reasons I was expecting. The experience was actually fun, enjoyable and amazing however it was taxing on my body (although it could just be because I am as fragile as glass).
Once I got used to waking up early in the morning, the sessions were easy to be excited for and being with your family during the session is even better knowing that you have personal support and guidance the whole way through. For our family, its probably a blessing that we have incorporated Battlesbridge Bootcamp into our weekly routine not only for our health but also because it allows us to spend even more time together.
Thank you Erin, Reece, Jen and Battlesbridge Bootcamp.
